  Many religious parents who don’t have that close of a relationship with their children beyond surface-level appearances, those relationships are often that way because the parent operated as a tyrannical control freak within the home as they were raising their children—refusing to psychospiritually develop themselves as a soul, while embodying everything but Christ in their parenting style. This means that their version of “faith” became a weapon of control rather than a   genuine path of personal development in their own lives—where it became a weapon that they used to suppress their children’s individuality, emotional expression, and the authentic connection that could have blossomed between parent and child had they chosen to grow in humility, self-awareness, and emotional maturity during the time that they were raising their children.   If all real magick is, is simply using our willpower and intent to influence change in our environments, in our internal states, or in anything at all in this world, one thing that has always baffled me is why super religious folks don’t realize that with their will, intent, emotion, focus, and use of their mind in general, they are actively practicing magick to shape their reality, all according to their beliefs, desires, and convictions—whether that’s an internal psychospiritual restructuring of their perception of reality or an external manifestation within the collective energetic field they consciously or unconsciously contribute to. In my own life, in general, it took me about 34 years before I truly began to start waking up from the matrix of the society around me and its spells of conditioning, indoctrination, and subconscious programming that I was under—spells that were cast over me as soon as I was born into this world. And now, being 37 at the time I’m putting this together, I’m not saying that there isn’t a whole lot of life ahead of me in becoming more conscious and aware, or that there isn’t still more growth to be had in breaking my psyche free from influences, attachments, and inherited imprints of things that I didn’t consciously choose in my own psychospiritually sovereign essence.
